Lovers Store's challenge was to attract a hipper audience and to catch up on social media. Before I came to them, they felt as though they'd missed the social media train and needed to connect with their online audience and build a community. They were going for a fun, flirty "adult candy store" vibe.
I presented them with two options for directions we could take it. Either hip, artsy, slice of life. Dark chocolate, sexy candy shop vibes. Or fun, poppy and flirty. Sexy sprinkles with a rock n' roll edge.
Option One: Hip & Artsy
Option Two: Colorful & Fun

Closer Look: Lovers Stores
The team unanimously decided to go for the colorful and fun option, so I got started! I sourced models, props, wardrobe, hair and makeup to bring the vision to life with my photography.
Once the content was created over a series of styled shoots, which were completely designed and produced solo I put together a social media strategy. I researched hashtags, wrote captions, planned influencer outreach and plugged it all into an easy-to-read spreadsheet. Once everything was approved posts were loaded into Later, an auto-posting website. From that point on, the well oiled machine mostly took care of its self. The client was happy and the attention the new look and strategy garnered spoke for its self.
Because the social imagery performed so fabulously, the team decided to also use the photos for marketing material in store, on the website and advertisements. It was content that was able to be used and recycled again and again in a number of ways.
