Swisswater is a Canada based coffee decaf processing company. Their technique of decaffeinating coffee is one hundred percent chemical free and done with just water! They don't actually produce any of their own branded product so connecting with the right audience was tricky. They needed coffee brands to notice them and consumers to know to check for their label on their favorite coffees. The challenge was to communicate what exactly it was they did, attract a B2B audience and grow their online presence.

I presented them with two options that I felt would visually communicate their mission to their target demographic. Either a trendy, edgy coffee culture aesthetic or an aspirational, bright and airy, health conscious look.

Option One: Trendy coffee culture

Option Two: aspirational & bright

Closer Look: Swisswater

I was personally drawn to the hip, trendy cafe culture vibe, but the client was really connecting with the bright, airy, aspirational look. So, though it was a bit (ok, a lot) different from my personal aesthetic, I forged on! I put myself into my client's shoes and ended up really loving the extra challenge I was presented with going outside of my comfort zone.

Here's some of what I created for them! I sourced models, selected locations, designed sets and wardrobe, and photographed everything.

Once the content was created over a series of styled shoots, I put together a custom social media strategy. I researched hashtags, wrote captions, planned influencer outreach and plugged it all into an easy-to-read spreadsheet. Once everything was approved posts were plugged into auto posting software. The client was happy and very impressed with the updated strategy and the attention and following it brought.
